When I tell people that I'm a play therapist they either look at me with curious or is that really a profession eyes. This post is meant for both groups.
With the former, I frequently see a small sparkle, one that seems to say, "I get it". I can tell there is a powerful inner child within; one that has not forgotten to let loose, be creative, have fun, take risks or ask "dumb" questions. A soul that speaks unedited truths without judgment, anger or fear and expects no recompense.
